My passion for photography was fully ignited by motherhood. Having five children opened my eyes and my heart -exposing true beauty in the most candid form. They remind me to be patient, present, warm and spontaneous; all of which are essential components of photography. I have an intrinsic sense of “the moment” and I strive to convey sentiment through my work. I want people to feel something when they see my pictures, not just marvel at the perfection of a staged shoot.
Alfred Eisenstaedt said, “In a photograph a person’s eyes tell much, sometimes they tell all.” And I tend to agree. My job is to maintain the integrity of the subject on the other side of the lens translating the honesty and uniqueness of the moment on film. When it comes to photography, my motto is that there is great perfection in reality – let the process unfold.
I’m completely laid back, versatile and open. I want the experience to be fun and the imagery to be beautiful.
Holly did an amazing job translating my vision for the BLOOM brand. Her eye for color and texture complements the beauty of our product.

Holly captured amazing photographs in the midst of boy and dog chaos. Her calm confidence produced many photo treasures. The experience was fun and she made taking pictures of our big crew look easy.

You are really the best. I have never had a photographer be so understanding about my crazy phobia. The photos look lovely. I truly appreciate your kindness and patience.
